33 projects for the Torino 2025 University Winter Games

The first call for proposals for the BRAINSTORM project launched by the Organising Committee of the World University Winter Games, to be held in Turin from 13 to 23 January 2025, has been already closed. This will be the seventh time that the event will be held in Italy, following Sestriere 1966, Livigno 1975, Belluno 1985, Tarvisio 2003, Torino 2007 and Trentino 2013.

Debrecen-Miskolc will host the 7th edition of the European Universities Games from 12-24 July 2024, with over 4500 athletes expected to compete in the largest university sports event in Hungary since 1965. The Hungarian city attended a crucial meeting just before the opening of registrations scheduled for 15 December.

The General Assembly of the Finnish Student Sports Federation (OLL) has chosen Mr. Mio Kortelainen from Laurea University of Applied Sciences as President for the year 2024. They also elected the Board for 2024. The meeting brought together representatives from student unions and university sports services, both in Tampere and remotely.
