FISU (International University Sports Federation) Oceania Vice President Amy Sasser and Executive Committee member Karl Whalen have participated in activities related to the Oceania National Olympic Committees (ONOC) General Assembly currently taking place in Nadi, Fiji.

On 20 March 2024, a landmark meeting was held in Beijing, China, at where the Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC) and the Federation of School Sports of China (FSSC) merged into one organisation, renamed as the China Student Sports Federation (CSSF).
