The next edition of the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) is scheduled to take place in Bangkok and Chonburi Province in Thailand in 2024.

Dates of between February 24 and March 6 have been set for the sixth edition of the event.

The Games have been moved three times, including twice because of the COVID-19 pandemic which saw dates in May 2021, March 2022 and November 2023 originally set.

In July 2023, the Games were moved to the 2024 dates because of political uncertainty in Thailand and a change in Government.

Twenty-nine medal sports and two demonstration sports are included on the AIMAG programme.

There will be a total of 305 events, with 297 gold medals available to be won.

Eleven venues are located in Bangkok, the Thai capital, with seven in Chonburi province.

A fighting parrot mascot has been unveiled for the event, while the AIMAG emblem is the Garland of Unity.

Ashgabat in Turkmenistan hosted the last edition of the AIMAG in 2017.
