Compatriots and doubles partners Niels Vink and Sam Schröder of The Netherlands are to meet each other in the quad wheelchair tennis singles final at the Australian Open, after convincing straight-set victories today.

Top seed Vink was in control in the semi-finals against South African Donald Ramphadi, winning 6-3, 6-0.

Second seed Schröder smashed American David Wagner 6-0, 6-3.

In the men's singles, British top seed Alfie Hewett smashed Japan's Takuya Miki 6-1, 6-1 to make the final; where he will be joined by Miki's fellow countryman, Tokito Oda.

Third seed Oda came through in three sets against second seed Gustavo Fernández of Argentina 6-2, 4-6, 7-5.

The top two seeds are to meet in the women's singles following wins for Dutch player Diede de Groot and Japan's Yui Kamiji.

De Groot would not drop a game in her 6-0, 6-0 demolition of Manami Tanaka of Japan; while Kamiji defeated Dutch fourth seed Jiske Griffioen 6-2, 6-1.

Another win in the final would be the Dutch player's fourth-straight singles Grand Slam win in Melbourne.

De Groot and team-mate Aniek van Koot, the top seeds in the women's doubles defeated Dana Mathewson of the United States and Lucy Shuker of Britain 6-2, 6-1 to make the final; where they are set to face Kamiji and China's Zhu Zhenzhen following their 6-2, 6-0 victory over Griffioen and Momoko Ohtani of Japan.

Finally, British second seeds Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid are into the men's doubles final after beating Daisuke Arai and Takashi Sanada of Japan 6-4, 6-4.

Dutch duo Maikel Scheffers and Ruben Spaargaren won 6-3, 6-2 against Alexander Cataldo of Chile and Tom Egberink of The Netherlands to join them there.
