The Cheshire Football Association (FA) is to receive discounts on teqball tables after striking a deal with the International Teqball Federation (FITEQ).

Development in the north-west region of England will be the aim of this partnership in both football and teqball, with the Cheshire FA overseeing the area just south of Liverpool and Manchester, on the northern border with Wales.

The agreement means the organisation receives a 20 per cent discount off Teq Lite and Teq X tables, with a free teqball ball delivered with each one.

"We are really pleased to get this partnership off the ground," said Cheshire FA business development manager Greg McLean.

"Huge thanks to our football development manager, Dan Landstrom, for his support too.

"We have no doubt that any clubs or associates across Cheshire who have their own site or clubhouse, this would be a brilliant addition to your offering.

"We can't wait to use ours at Cheshire FA headquarters."

The United Kingdom is still not a FITEQ member, but teqball has appeared at professional football clubs across the country.
