morocco v_algeria_30-11-11November 30 - Morocco have made a superb start in their bid to reach London 2012 after winning the first two games of the African football qualifying tournament they are hosting.

A 1-0 win over Nigeria in the opening match of the tournament got Pim Verbeek's men off to a solid start, thanks to a goal from Abdelaziz Barrada.

A win by the same score against Algeria has now moved them to top on six points, as they gear up to face Senegal – who beat Nigeria 2-1 yesterday – in their final game.

A draw will send Morocco through to the semi-finals as group winners when they meet Senegal, who along with Algeria are on three points, whilst Nigeria are all but out after losing both of their opening games.

Group B continues tonight after Egypt got off to the best start in the section with a 1-0 win over Gabon.

South Africa and Ivory Coast played out a 1-1 draw in their game, which means that if Egypt beat the Ivorians tonight, they will advance to the semi-finals.

Gabon must get at least a point from their game with South Africa to stay in contention for London.
