Terliuga reached her 21^st final on the circuit with a 5-2 victory against Italy's Syria Mancinelli in the women's kumite under-55 kilograms at the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena.

She is set to face Shiori Nakamura of Japan for gold after she edged compatriot Shima Airi 1-0.

The women's kata final is set to feature two of the greats, with Olympic bronze medallist Grace Lau of Hong Kong facing Japan's reigning grand winner Hikaru Ono of Japan after victories against Japanese duo Nakaji Hisami and Maho Ono respectively.

In the other women's event, recently crowned Grand Winner Yorgelis Salazar of Venezuela thrashed Croatia's Jelena Pehar 14-4 to reach the kumite under-50kg final.

Her opponent is set to be another Croatian athlete in Ema Sgardelli, who beat Ukraine's Kateryna Kryva 2-1.

In the men's competition, Japan's Hiromu Hashimoto saw off the number one seed Abdullah Shaaban of Jordan 3-1 to reach the kumite under-60kg final.

Rayyan Meziane of France won the other semi-final 3-1 against Greece's Christos-Stefanos Xenos.

Grand Winner Dionysos Xenos of Greece is through to the kumite under-67kg final after beating Jordan's Abdel Rahman Almasatfa 8-5, with Yugo Kozaki of Japan reaching his first Karate 1-Premier League final on the other side of the draw with an 8-0 win against Italy's Luca Maresca.

Hasan Masarweh of Jordan and Enzo Berthon of France are set to contest the kumite under-75kg final after beating Belgium's Quentin Mahauden 4-1 and Ukraine's Andrii Zaplitnyi 2-0 respectively.

Competition in the other six events is due to take place tomorrow, with medal bouts scheduled for Sunday (September 10) in Dublin.
