They were greeted by ANOC Secretary Gunilla Lindberg who assured them of "strong support" in preparing for the Games.

Brazil is set to be one of the largest teams at the 2023 Beach Games with 67 athletes already qualified.

At the 2019 edition in Qatari capital city Doha, the Brazilians won gold in beach soccer, beach tennis, beach handball, beach wrestling and open water swimming.

They also won four silver and three bronze medals and left Qatar as the second most successful nation behind Spain.

The ANOC Beach Games are scheduled to open in Bali on August 5.
