India continued their winning streak on the NWU Astro with a routine 3-0 win against South Korea.

The Eves performance was characterised by efficiency in attack and speed of play as Mumtaz Khan opened the scoring following a fantastically worked penalty corner move after 11 minutes.

Lalrindiki then doubled the lead four minutes later after she hit the back of the net following a fortunate rebound.

Sangita Kumari then put the nail in the coffin with the third goal with a first-time strike 41 minutes into the game.

The next fixture saw The Netherlands obliterate hosts South Africa 5-0.

Jip Dicke and Luna Fokke both secured a brace either side of Noor Omrani's 44^th minute effort to seal a final four match-up against India on Sunday (April 10).

"We are so happy that we won this game and are now in the semi-finals," said the Dutch player of the match Rosa Fenig.

"It was nice to play the host country.

"We didn’t start as well as we could play but we turned it round and showed what we could do in the second half."

In the afternoon, the United States got off to a perfect start as Ashley Sessa gave her side the lead after three minutes.

The forward then came close to adding another with an audacious chip but was made to rue the missed chance as it skimmed off the crossbar.

Millie Giglio then equalised for the English on the third consecutive penalty corner as captain Maddie Axford dummied to create space for the reverse stick finish inside of the 18^th minute.

It was neck-and-neck until the 44^th minute when Vicki McCabe burst into the American circle and put in a perfect cross for Axford to finish off.

"It was a very tough game, we knew it would be physical," said Giglio.

"We fought quite literally until the last second.

"It was unfortunate to concede a penalty corner in the last seconds but we held on."

Germany then beat reigning champions Argentina 4-1 in the last quarter-final in what was an unfair score line for Fernando Ferrara's team.

Pauline Heinz, Mia Sippel, and Lilly Stoffelsma scored 11^th, 18^th, and 23^rd minute goals, respectively to build a commanding lead.

The Argentinians did not lie down though as María Constanza Cerundolo pulled one back and led constant attack.

They could not capitalise on the pressure though and Aina Kresken scored a fantastic goal to make it four.

Kresken and Germany are due to face England on Sunday in the other semi-final before the gold medal match on Tuesday (April 12).
