"I’m so excited and happy, I never thought this would happen," Healey said of her triumph.

"I was so nervous [in the final] that I didn't think I would get any points at all.

"This was my first gold-medal match as a senior and it means so much.

"I don't know how to explain it, I’m lost for words."

In the compound discipline, Slovenian eighth seed Toja Ellison secured an impressive victory over last season's Archery World Cup Final runner-up Meeri-Marita Paas of Estonia in the women's event.

A 10 to finish helped the 2019 European Games gold medallist to win 144-143 in the decider.

After a second-place finish at his home World Series event in Nîmes, French men's second seed Nicolas Girard came out on top at the Vegas Shoot.

In a thrilling finish to the final, opponent Alberto Blazquez of Spain posted a perfect 30, which left Girard requiring 10 for the win.

He found the centre of the target to take the gold-medal match 147-146.
