There was further Thai success in the women's doubles competition as Chayanit Chaladchalam and partner Phataimas Muenwong beat Indonesia's Della Destiara Haris and Rizki Amelia Pradipta 21-16, 21-9.

That was the only mark against Indonesia's record on finals day as the Asian nation went on to claim both the men's and mixed doubles titles.

Liao and Cheng took the opening set 21-12 but the Indonesians, seeded seventh, responded by winning the second and third 21-16, 23-21.

Alfian Eko Prasetya and Melati Daeva Oktavianti added the mixed crown to Indonesia's success when they defeated compatriots Riky Widianto and Masita Mahmudin 21-14, 21-14.
