The National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran has rolled out its Olympic Edcuation Project to physical education teachers in the country.

The idea of the scheme is to "enhance Olympic education and Olympism" among students and young people.

A workshop with the teachers was held after the book "Lesson from Olympics" was compiled, translated and published.

The teachers in attendance were high-level physical education teachers, in the capital city Tehran.

Now, it is hoped, they will be able to pass on what they have learnt to their respective students.

The programme will also be spread out across the rest of Iran.
