Louis Giard of France finished 10th, fourth and 16th today to lie in second overall on 32 points, joint with Shahar Zubari of Israel 

The home sailor, who led after the opening day, finished fourth, second and ninth today. 

Another Polish surfer lies fifth in the form of Pawel Tarnowski, who is on 33 points jointly with Britain's Nick Dempsey, the London 2012 Olympic silver medal winner. 

On another day of difficult conditions in the Israeli resort, competition was able to progress as normal for the top ranked sailors racing in the gold fleet.

Action for the silver fleet was postponed, however, as the wind died.

Bialecka remains in front in the women's class after a fine second place in the final race of the day followed a 10th and 11th place finish in the first two.

She lies on 19 points, just one clear of The Netherlands' Lilian de Geus, who won the opening race before finishing sixth and fifth in the next two.

Zofia Noceti-Klepacka of Poland lies third on 29 points after two third-place finishes today.

Reigning Olympic champion Marina Alabau Neira of Spain is fourth on 35.

Competition is set to start earlier for the gold fleets tomorrow, at 8:30am local time, in order to take advantage of the windier early morning conditions.
