BRITISH GYMNASTICS has today announced a new sponsorship deal with with Bishop Sports & Leisure Limited as the official non-competitive equipment national supplier  through until the 2012 Olympics.

SEBASTIAN COE, the chairman of London 2012, was on hand today to witness Birmingham City Council and British Gymnastics sign a new deal to raise standards of the sport there.

Raj Bhavsar (pictured), a member of the United States gymnastics team that won a bronze medal in last year's Olympics, wants to help the sport develop in India ahead of the 2010 Commonwealth Games, he said.

SEPTEMBER 29 - TICKETS for the 2009 World Gymnastics Championships to be held at The O2 in London will go on sale on Wednesday.

April 4 - Britain's Daniel Keatings (pictured) won the silver medal in the all-round event at the European Gymnastics Championships in Milan tonight.
