A new digital streaming platform has been launched by the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) to provide coverage of its events including this year’s World Beach Games in Bali.

ANOC.tv has been created by ANOC in partnership with sports streaming provider Sportall.

The free-to-view platform is set to be available worldwide and provide live coverage and highlights of Bali 2023, as well as other events, including the ANOC General Assembly and ANOC Awards in Indonesia.

It is also due to serve as a free platform for National Olympic Committees (NOC) to establish their own channels which are expected to be integrated into ANOC.tv and become a main source of national Olympic sport in their country.

Bali is set to play host to the World Beach Games from August 5 to 12, followed by the General Assembly from August 13 to 15.

It is hoped that ANOC.tv will boost the popularity and awareness of beach sports by live streaming international competitions in the build-up to the World Beach Games.

ANOC has revealed that it has reached agreements with "numerous" International Federations as it looks set to live stream beach events in tennis, badminton and wrestling with further competitions expected to be added.

ANOC.tv already features content from the Doha 2019 World Beach Games as well as previous ANOC Awards and General Assemblies.

"We are delighted to partner with Sportall to launch ANOC’s first ever OTT [over-the-top] streaming platform," said ANOC secretary general Gunilla Lindberg.

"ANOC.tv will become a hub for international and national sport.

"With the ANOC World Beach Games and qualification events all set to be streamed on ANOC.tv, the platform will be a must-watch for beach sport fans around the world.

"We have developed ANOC.tv to make sure it is as valuable to NOC as possible and that it can open up exciting new opportunities to engage their national audiences.

"By making this platform freely available to all NOCs, they will be able increase visibility of their athletes and National Federations’ events which are not consistently shown on mainstream media."

Sportall President and co-founder Thierry Boudard added: "We are extremely proud to be partnering with ANOC on this ambitious project.

"Sportall’s mission is to accompany sports rights holders in the exposure, promotion and monetization of all their valuable video content, building their OTT solution based on our latest technology platform and with the right model for each.

"This partnership will give us the opportunity to demonstrate our competences on a truly global level."
