The winners on the day were Sweden's Olympic bronze medallist Jesper Tjäder in the men's event and France's Tess Ledeux in the women's.

Ledeux's victory on the Pro Line course was her first in the discipline this season.

She fell on her first run of the day, but followed it with a superb 93.25 points to seal victory over Switzerland's Sarah Höfflin by three points and Killi by four points.

Ledeux was pleased to end her season on a high.

"I’m just so happy to finish this season on the first place," she said.

"It was a hard season for me in slopestyle, that’s why I’m so happy.

"I love this place - it’s my fifth podium here, that’s why I love this place.

"I’m so happy that we will have the World Championships here in two years."

Killi's third-place finish sealed overall victory in the slopestyle discipline with 380 points to Höfflin's 250, and the Freeski World Cup Crystal Globe with 440 points to Ledeux's 345.

In the men's event, a stunning first run of 94.25 from Tjäder sealed only his second World Cup victory and his first since March 2014.

Evan McEachran of Canada took second with 93.00, while Ruud placed third with 92.50.

Ruud had already won the Crystal Globe going into the Silvaplana finale, and set a record of seven podium finishes during this season's Freeski World Cup, finishing on 560 points to beat Switzerland's Andri Ragettli by 195 points.

The third-place finish also secured the slopestyle title by 360 points to the 300 of Ragettli.
