The 28-year-old, who has already won a World Championship and two World Series this year, finished in a time of 19min 17.3sec.

In second was Maximilien Drion Du Chapois of Belgium, who was 52.8 seconds behind Bonnet.

Bonnet's compatriot Werner Marti claimed third as he finished 54.3 seconds behind the leader.

Bonnet is currently in first with 300 points in the vertical rankings, with Drion Du Chapois in second with 270 and Marti in third with 235.

"It was a hot day, so being in the red zone from the start wasn’t a good idea," said Bonnet, according to Sevenpress.

"The shape is good, legs were reacting, so I was able to make a difference and won this tough and steep race."

In the overall rankings, Thibaut Anselmet of France is in first with 857 points, with Drion Du Chapois in second with 721 and Bonnet in third with 600.

In the women's verticals, Austria's Sarah Dreier finished first on home snow in 23:40.9.

In second was Axelle Gachet-Mollaret of France, who was 7.7 seconds behind Drier, while her compatriot Emily Harrop was 8.5 seconds behind the leader.

In the vertical standings, Gachet-Mollaret is first with 290 points, with Drier only 10 points behind her and Italian Giulia Murada in third with 214.

In the women's overall standings, Murada is at the top with 893 points, with France's Celia Perillat-Pessey in second with 864 points and Harrop in third with 848.

"It’s unbelievable, I’m speechless," said Dreier.

"It’s a dream that comes true, and it feels so good to win at home in front of my family, friends and Austrian people."

The competitors now turn their focus to the ISMF World Cup Finals, in Tromso, Norway, which are scheduled to take place on April 11 2023.
