The partnership between Kraków-Małopolska 2023 European Games and LaLiga, Spain's top football league, will help the multi-sport event "get extensive international promotion."

Through the partnership, LaLiga is set to help the Organising Committee in promoting the European Games.

"The Kraków-Małopolska 2023 European Games will get extensive international promotion, thanks to the partnership with Spain’s LaLiga," Michal Langer, vice-president of the Organising Committee of the European Games, said.

"We could not have dreamed of a better partner."

The Spanish top division is planning to give visibility for Kraków-Małopolska 2023 during select matches on its digital channels.

In return, the league will be promoted during the European Games.

"This agreement between LaLiga and the European Games allows us to identify common opportunities to reach an audience of sports fans who increasingly enjoy sport and football, but who do so in totally new and innovative formats," Javier Tebas, President of LaLiga, said.

The 2023 European Games is scheduled to be held from June 21 to July 2.

A total of 7,000 athletes from 48 countries will be taking part in the event, with Paris 2024 Olympic quotas on offer.
