In the sports promise of the year in non-Olympic sports, Landázuri earned the bronze award.

He won under-21 men's over-94kg gold in the fighting discipline for the second consecutive year in the United Arab Emirates' capital in November.

Landázuri also placed seventh in the men's over-94kg fighting event, and earned an under-21 bronze in the jiu-jitsu discipline.

He is a three-time national and two-time continental champion.

Colombia won four golds, six silvers and four bronzes at the JJIF World Championships last year, with the 2023 edition due to be held in Mongolia.

Finswimmer Juan David Vivas and skater Pablo Marín won first and second in the sports promise of the year in non-Olympic sports category at the COC awards.

The non-Olympic sports athlete of the year award went to artistic skater Brayan Carreño Ceballos.

Olympic sports athlete of the year went to weightlifter Yenny Álvarez, and promise of the year to wrestler Tatiana Rentería.
