Line Flem Høst of Norway claimed the top spot after winning her race today at the ILCA 6 World Championships in Texas.

The 2020 laser radial world bronze medallist is leading by one point ahead of Mári Érdi of Hungary and Louise Cervera of France, on 10 points each.

A second-place finish for Belgium’s Tokyo Olympian Emma Plasschaert propelled her to fourth overall.

Yesterday’s leader and former Olympic champion Marit Bouwmeester of the Netherlands is sitting at fifth overall.

Italian Silvia Zennaro, who was behind Bouwmeester yesterday, was dropped to seventh in the standings after managing only to finish in 20th position in today’s race.

With 14 points, Tokyo 2020 champion Anne-Marie Rindom of Denmark manged to claw back into the top 10.

Meanwhile, Peter Barnard of the United States continued to reign supreme among men after another victory.

Bernard held on to his top sport in front of compatriots Hamilton Barclay and Nicholas Mueller, who are second and third respectively.

The domination of the United States was underlined when the fourth and fifth spot overall was occupied by Americans William Baker and Thomas Kraak.

The ILCA 6 World Championships is scheduled to conclude on Sunday (October 16).
