Montreal is the last stop of the initial 11-leg series before teams travel to Romania for the final meeting of the season.

Long-range shooter Linnae Harper is expected to be one of America’s leading stars as they will be without Quebec Most Valuable Player Lauren Cox as well as Cierra Burdick.

They are due to face Lithuania, which will be a rematch of the final in Quebec, in Pool D but their opponents are going to be missing a handful of players on this occasion.

However, Martyna Petrenaite remains at their disposal which will cause alarm to the US.

Canada's Toronto have also been drawn in Pool D.

Spain have been placed in Pool B and are likely to bring the firepower as they seek to claim back-to-back titles in Montreal and their second first-place position since Bordeaux last month.

They are due to play Germany's Dusseldorf ZOOS and Latvia in Pool B.

Meanwhile, World Cup champions France are hoping to turn the tide and establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with once again following three below-par outings in Bucharest, Quebec and Eaubonne.

Their initial opponents in Pool C are France Under-24 and Japan's Exewing.

Pool A consists of Canada, The Netherlands and Hungary.

The US, Lithuania, Spain and France have all qualified for the final alongside Germany, Canada and Romania.

This leaves just one spot remaining with China occupying eighth.

However, as they are not competing in this leg, they are banking on hope that the results go their way in order for them to hold on to the spot.

Dusseldorf ZOOS, France’s Under-24 team, Hungary and The Netherlands could all make a run to secure the last qualification spot.

The FIBA 3x3 Women's Series leg in Montreal is due to commence tomorrow and conclude on Saturday (September 3).
