Qualification at the 2022 European Archery Championships has ended, with world number one men's compound archer Mike Schloesser being one of those to top their respective tables in Munich.

The Dutch archer scored a total of 712 to top the charts in front of Austrian Nico Wiener on 710 and Emircan Haney of Turkey on 709.

Robin Jaatma from Estonia and Jean Philippe Boulch of France completed the top five.

World number five - and second-ranked European - Ella Gibson of Britain placed top of women's compound qualification with a total of 709.

Tanja Gellenthien of Denmark matched her score in second, finishing behind based on the number of arrows to hit the "X".

Far behind in third was Turkey's Yesim Bostan on 700, while Belgian Sarah Prieels and Estonian Lisell Jaatma were fourth and fifth.

When nations combined their accumulative scores, Denmark and Turkey topped the men's and women's team qualification from their best three archers, while the mixed team top spot went to Denmark as well.

Michelle Kroppen of Germany has the top spot in the women's recurve after scoring 675 today.

Britain's Penny Healey was second on 667 and Turkish archer Ezgi Basaran third on 664.

World number four Italian Lucilla Boari was 13th, while world number five Lisa Barbelin of France placed 24th.

Britain's world number seven Bryony Pitman was also down the order in 17th.

Another German topped men's qualification as 2014 champion Florian Unruh recorded a total of 687, far in front of second-placed Spanish archer and world number four Miguel Alvarino Garcia on 681. 

Garcia's compatriot Daniel Castro was close behind in third on 680, followed by top European archer and world number three Mete Gazoz of Turkey.

German Jonathan Vetter completed the top five.

In the women's and mixed team qualification, Germany finished top while Spain became top seeds in the men's recurve team tournament.
