The Badminton World Federation (BWF) has elected six members to its Para Badminton Athletes' Commission who will serve for their terms until 2025.

An online election was conducted by the organisation on Friday (March 11), with 11 candidates in contention for the six positions.

A total of 151 eligible athletes voted in the contest.

Raùl Anguiano Araujo from Guatemala and Richard Perot of France was re-elected to the Commission.

Indian Anand Kumar did not return, but Daniel Chan Ho Yuen of Hong Kong has. 

Joining the three are Amy Burnett from the United States, Denmark's Cathrine Rosengren and To Man Kei of Belgium.

At the age of 23 years old, Rosengren is the youngest member of the Athletes' Commission, having made her international debut in 2016 at the European Championships.

The new chair and deputy chair is set to be decided when the Para Badminton Athletes' Commission meet for the first time.

The chair will then become a member of the BWF Council until the next elections in 2025.
