Frankie Diaz has entered the top 10 of the International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ) doubles world rankings after winning back-to-back tournaments.

The American has started the year in superb form as he teamed up with Carolyn Greco to win the Las Vegas Challenge Cup before joining forces with Dennis Correia to clinch the Sacramento Challenge Cup crown last weekend.

Hungary’s reigning world champions Ádám Blázsovics and Csaba Bányik remain tied at the top of the standings on 21,895 points.

Serbian duo Bogdan Marojević and Nikola Mitro will hope to soon close the gap as they sit in joint third on 10,470.

The top 10 in the singles rankings stays unchanged, with Poland’s Adam Duszak holding a narrow advantage over Blázsovics.

Duszak is top on 16,856 points ahead of Blázsovics on 15,010 and Apor Györgydeák of Romania on 5,418.

Three Senegalese players have moved into the top 50 after success at the recent Senegal Challenger Series.

Mame Fam, who won the third round of the series, climbs to 22nd position, with Amady Baily Ba and Pape Mamadou Dione now ranked 34th and 49th respectively.

The mixed doubles rankings is largely unchanged, with Brazil’s 2019 world champions Natalia Guitler and Marcos Vinicius Vieira Da Silva maintaining top spot.

The Brazilians lead the way on 6,855 each with Hungarian pairing Janicsek Zsanett and Csaba Bányik next on 4,782.

The next FITEQ world rankings update is set to be published in March.
