The OCBC Aquatic Centre at Singapore’s Sports Hub will be welcoming the world’s top divers for three days, with the event offering athletes the last opportunity of the year to compete on the global stage.

There are 10 gold medals up for grabs at the competition, due to begin tomorrow and conclude on Sunday (November 25).

Men and women will compete in the three metres springboard and 10m platform events, as well as the synchronised editions of the same competitions.

Medals will also be contested in the 3m and 10m disciplines in the mixed synchronised events.

FINA President Julio Maglione thanked the national federations and Organising Committees for their hard work throughout the year prior to the last competition of 2018.

The Grand Prix events also add to the growth of the sport, he said.

“The Grand Prix is a unique opportunity to enhance the visibility and media exposure of diving worldwide,” Maglione said.

“It provides a platform for divers all around the world to practice at an international level, close to their home.”
